Osteopathy is a system of healing, which was developed in America in the 1890s and was used alongside allopathic medicine. It is a holistic manual therapy, which uses gentle movements to examine and treat. It is not necessary to manipulate joints, which makes them click, for the treatment to be successful.

Since being introduced into the UK it has been proven effective for the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions sometimes by the manipulation of joints with the associated clicking, which some patients find unpleasant. The majority of my patients come by personal recommendation.
